These five look as glorious on stage as pandvas in the battleground and this time too the radiance was the harbinger of a great show. The vocalist Jagan with his leg on the monitor staring into the crowd. The lead guitarist Sunil Silvester strumming away trying to perfect that tone. The bass guitarist Arun oblivious to everything around him, in a world of his own. The drummer Anish sitting ready with a mysterious smile on his face as if taunting us as we wait for them. And Saji on the keyboard with his face bent on the keyboard and his long hair masking his face.
Sunil starts off with a few riffs on the lead which were enchanting. Jagan joins in with the “Vengence”. The crowd slowly begins to grow as everyone gravitates towards the stage. Crowd throngs the barricades that separate the stage as people leave their comfortable chairs to be close to the band thats literally creating magic. The crowd went quiet as they were dumbstruck when Saji began playing “From here to Clarity”. Soon guitars came in , joined in by Jagan's voice and Anish's pedal and what came out was simply mindblowing. Following the next song “The Calling” was dedicated by Jagan to his mother and all other patients suffering from cancer. Their music evoked a great deal of emphathy from the crowd but still held on to the genre of the band. The evergreens then tried their hand on blues with “Altar of dreams” and quickly switched to progressive with “Sublime”. They covered Deep Purple next with “Perfect Strangers” to thunderous applause from the crowd. Just then the band backed up leaving Anish with his drums on the stage. As he started off with his solo the crowd were swaying and head banging to his beat. Their final act here was another cover “The Burn” again by Deep Purple. As they began playing pretty ladies came on stage with cans of the energy drink Burn endorsing the product but the audience's rapt attention was on our boys who were simply amazing. It all ended with chants for encore from the audience inspite of the band overshooting their given time.
